The cozy double room had a balcony with fine views. Breakfast was a highlight, with unique herbal teas and homemade local dishes. Benny and Conny were super cute, providing us with great tips for our adventures. We'll definitely be back 😊

We had a delicious breakfast, liked the meal with decent coffee, home-made goodies, rustic bread. The location of this beautifully designed hotel was incredible, on a slope: D

Best base for exploring Grindelwald. Clean place with amazing breakfasts. Breakfast with local products. Amazing and particularly good location, very near to first bahn. Also - close to Eiger Ultra Trail, and the Centre of the village.

It's an older hotel, so expect some noise!!! The bathroom design with glass walls lacks privacy for couples-certainly not ideal!!! Be prepared for musty smells in some areas. It's almost like a rustic experience gone wrong!!!

The breakfast was really good - local produce, fresh and delicious. The view from our room was great. Peaceful scenary.
The bathroom had a see-through glass door, which makes it quite awkward when you share a room with a friend/enjoy your privacy whilst in the bathroom/toilet.

It has modern and tidy rooms to offer with mountain view and balcony, for instance. The hotel staff are very amiable...

I almost gave this hotel a good review, but the soundproofing is just terrible, and one must wonder why there were no top sheets provided. I also expected some special treatment, like a complimentary upgrade for my inconvenience. Don't let the views fool you into thinking this place caters to anyone but regular guests.

Everything there was perfect and the staff were knowledgeable. The place had an individual atmosphere. Had a marvellous breakfast, a new-fashioned room with a wonderful view of the mountains. Also, location was stunning and lovely, relatively near Jungfrau Ski Region. Took a walk around city center, located relatively close to the hotel:)))

Lovely welcome from Conny with lots of added extras ie Afternoon tea available to help yourself to and power bars with an honesty box. A lovely comfortable lounge area with books in various languages. Great local action photos on the Walls by her husband Beni. All rooms beautifully and individually decorated. All have good mountain views. Outside decking with bean bags and BBQ looking out on the Eiger. Best breakfast out of 20 hotels we have visited over the last 6 weeks - check out the birchermuesli!
Not really a hotel for young children. Located out of the main village but served by free bus.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff !! The rooms are simple but really nice decorated and very clean. From the big windows with balcony the views are amazing!!. The bus stop it's just on the door and takes 5 minutes to the center or ski gondola. Breakfast fantastic!

The people running the hotel were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Breakfast was great and the with the bus stop right outside, the position out of town wasn't a problem. In fact we walked to and from the bars and restaurants around Firstbahn most nights.
Nothing. An excellent all round hotel and will definitely go back.

It was just a good pick for a brief pause in Grindelwald with reasonable price. The breakfast spread was decent, but running out of food was common. Be prepared for some strict rules around meals.

Everything you needed was there, they even picked you up from the station and dropped you off which was nice as the hotel is situated up a steep hill.
They never changed the towels and the lights by the bed were sharp, so when you turned them off at night, they scratched you.

Very clean, friendly staff, newly renovated, has a sauna and bar, excellent breakfast with delicious swiss cheese.
I did not like that my room had a glass bathroom door. There were no curtains or anything for privacy.
